Test Discussion-

Expect cold temps initially, but warming quickly under clear skies. The snow should be a mostly natural snow and will run colder than the air temps by a few hours. The conditions might be exactly the same as for the previous White Pine races this year. I found the  Ski*Go Universal HF to be very fast for the previous races, and so I am going to recommend the same wax for this race. If you don't have Universal HF,  Holmenkol Racing Mix Mid or Ski*Go Orange HF will probably be close.

For Fluoro powder – Ski*Go C105 is specially designed for temps below freezing down to -15C. Holmenkol Syntec Race Mid works extremely well with transformed snow, or snow that has been on the ground for at least a couple of days. If it is really warm, Ski*Go C22 would probably be the best option.

For topcoats it will really depend on whether the temps are warmer or not. It is probably best to try some things race day if you have the time.

We are not expecting any new snow, so a firm ski with a medium linear structure will probably work best, unless it gets really warm, then more structure may be needed.
