Clean and sand kick zone, then apply a hard wax base layer and iron in, let cool: Vauhti Super Base for longer distances, Rode Black base or Guru base for shorter distances.

Layer kick wax of the day on top of the base layer: Several to try:
1. Guru Green or Guru Blue
2. Rode Multigrade Blue or Rode Green
3. Holmenkol Green or Holmenkol Blue

If you need to use a stickier kick wax for grip, you may want to try a thin layer of green on top to speed it up.
